Surprisingly, this year we can really feel it's summer in London; torrid days when everybody is chasing iced lattes and fresh nights when the parks are packed. It's also the reason why I didn't post anything in a while.
Because I didn't enjoy summer in London this year and my fashion section has more of a streetstyle vibe, I decided to do more of a classy look, something I imagine myself wearing in Italy, after lunch when I look for the best place to enjoy my gelato. Something close to my scenary is Saint Paul's, with it's square buzzing with curious tourists and its warm architectural tones, also my favourite area in London.
To combine the modern, vibrant hues with a classic fit, I chose this outfit from TopShop, creating a super-chic look. The floaty culoettes and the high neck crossover top are a perfect combination regarding the fit, creating a flattering figure. For an urban look, I would usually go for the combination in black, however this turquoise tone seems more appropriate for an elegant, summer vibe.
I accessorised my look with a black turban-style headband and my Fiorelli cross-body handbag to accentuate that elegant spark, while for the shoes I chose to wear high-heels mules in black with an open-toe. This look goes very nice with some beige suede sandals as well so I had to take them with me!
This week I decided to explore more of London, chase that summer feeling instead of lattes, be a tourist in my city, and my shoes to be my only concern.
