The Grateful Post

I guess today is a late one. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Today I was quite upset because I was very busy with filming and prioritising our business and I didn’t manage to post on the blog on time. But then I realised how lucky and blessed I am to BE this busy. We have a little business that is going well right now when so many people became unemployed. I am so lucky that I have a camera and I can film a vlog and do something that I like. How many people are out there that are not able to pursue their passions? Also, if you’re reading this, how blessed are you that you have internet access, a cosy house, clean water, clothes to choose from and a roof above your head? So many people dream to have what we are constantly taking for granted. So many people would love to be “quarantined“ in our lovely homes or would love to be surrounded by the family we take for granted and we often get annoyed with for small things. I think it’s time to take a step back, to turn off the news and forget everything that seems like an inconvenience. Gratitude produces a more meaningful life. Not only that, but there is also scientific evidence that expressing genuine gratitude daily can improve physical health as well by improving the quality of sleep, cardiovascular (heart) health and immune function. Don't we desperately need this? Yesterday I stumbled across this quote by William Arthur Ward: “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it.” Excuse me, how brilliant is this? Always make sure to express your gratitude. I promise you that it will change your day and you will feel amazing! Here are five things for what I am grateful right now: 1. being healthy 2. having a source of income and being able to pursue my passions 3. having a loving and healthy family 4. for Paul 5. for my very energetic dogs What about you? I hope you won't be too annoyed by my rambling, but I feel like this subject needed a little attention and I had a bit of trouble remembering this today. In case it happens to you as well, please take it as a kind reminder full of love. Thank you for being here!
